Thanks to our experience, competence, and not least customer satisfaction, SCHWEIZER is an expert in different niches and boasts Europe’s largest range of low vision solutions. All glass lenses, (illuminated) magnifiers and low vision lamps are manufactured in-house at our site in Forchheim in Upper Franconia. Together with our subsidiary OptAk GmbH (OPTIK-AKADEMIE), we have created another pillar for SCHWEIZER’s continuous education programme, helping opticians, optometrists, ophthalmologists and orthoptists enhance their knowledge to best fit and dispense magnifying visual aids.
SCHWEIZER’s series of Tech-Line products offers a comprehensive range of high-quality technical magnifiers for industrial applications, workshops, testing purposes and trade.
At the end of the 1970s, industrial companies became increasingly interested in the knowledge gained in the high-precision surface finishing of glass lenses. This led to the creation of the subsidiary SCHWEIZER OFB GmbH that focuses on surface finishing and has acquired a reputation for excellence in lapping, grinding, and polishing.
The Technical Glass Division supplies a wide variety of optical, high-precision components in low and high-volume production with attractive pricing for the following industries: laser technology, image processing, test and measuring technology, lighting, photonics, and medical technology.
